Social

At conference there is plenty of opportunity for fun, fellowship and catching up with friends! Outside our programme of meetings the conference has a number of organised outings and social activities as well as free time for you to enjoy our venue and the surrounding area.

On-Site Activities

Our venue at Quinta offers us great facilities we can use to relax and enjoy with friends. Quinta is set in a beautiful 50 acre estate in North West Shropshire, and there are a number of circular walks from Quinta and long hikes in the local area.

The site also offers a swimming pool, a low ropes course, sports fields and disc golf. Swimming sessions are bookable during the conference and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

During the week we will organise on-site activities for various ages, this includes hiring inflatables and campfires. We also have a popular 5k run on Monday morning.

Afternoon Activities

Every afternoon we have an organised outing and activity for anyone to join. These outings often visit local sights and attractions and details will be announced during the week. In previous years we have visited local towns and walked local routes.

Our annual 6-a-side football is held each year on Thursday afternoon.

As part of the programme for Searchlights and the Youth Tent, we hire inflatables on-site on Tuesday afternoon for these age groups to enjoy.

Evening Activities

Our social hub in Quinta hall is the centre for socialising in the evening. Every evening after the meetings, chips are served and our barista, Andreas, dispenses his signature coffee and hot chocolate. There is plenty of space to sit, relax and chat in this area or play table tennis, pool and table football.

On Tuesday evening we host a quiz and on Thursday evening we have our open mic night. Both of these events are open for all delegates to participate.

As part of the programme for Searchlights and the Youth Tent, they will have a bonfire after their meetings one evening too.
