From August 2018 onwards, New Life Conference has taken place at The Quinta Christian Conference Centre, Weston Rhyn, Oswestry, Shropshire, SY10 7LR. Whilst the location has changed, the ethos of the conference remains the same.
Quinta offers residential accommodation for up to 280 as well as camping and caravanning. There is a swimming pool with sessions bookable via Eventbrite during the conference. Please note that under 18s MUST be accompanied by adult.
For more information about Quinta please visit their website www.quinta.org.
New Life Conference COVID Policy
The trustees will continue to monitor government guidelines and implement a policy only if necessary and in accordance with those guidelines. We very much hope that will not be the case.
SUPPORT FOR THE DISABLED
We are committed to making activities and facilities accessible to all people of varying abilities. For those requiring specialist help, please contact the booking secretary on 07948 497751.
If you are the parent of a child with SEN, no matter how mild, please note this in your booking or email email@example.com – this will help the children’s group leaders to plan well.
All persons who will be working with children or youth must ensure that they have a current DBS certificate. Please contact Richard Higgs before 31st May 2022.
To ensure a safer conference for all, the trustees require that all delegates wear the wristband supplied in their welcome pack at all times. Delegates will not be permitted to attend meetings without it, so if you lose your wristband please come to the conference office to report the loss and acquire a replacement.
Please view our current Safeguarding Policy here.
We do not provide medical care on site. In the event of illness delegates need to contact the local medical services; telephone numbers are in Quinta Hall.
New Life Conference is operated by The Summer Fellowship Conference Trust, a registered charity (no. 293590). The trustees are David Vine, Peter Cowling, Richard Higgs and Steve Sulston.
Code of Conduct
The trustees of conference wish it to be known that we have a responsibility to protect innocent people from the use of drugs, alcohol, smoking and any inappropriate sexual behaviour.
We reserve the right to involve the police or remove from Quinta those who are found to be involved in activities which are illegal or fall outside what is acceptable behaviour for the conference.
In order to ensure the safety of delegates, we will be requiring all delegates at conference to wear a wristband whilst on site. All delegates will be required to wear a wrist band to gain entry to meetings and activities at conference. There is an expectation among the trustees that all delegates at conference (including Youth and children) will attend the appropriate meetings.
Short Term Mission
The conference encourages and supports mission activity. To this end, in conjunction with Avail Mission (Avail Mission website), the conference offers the possibility of short term mission support for 18-30s. Explore the Short Term Mission page for more details. Support is subject to the application process and agreed at the discretion of the trustees.
